Social Health Event - SF Bay Area (Sept. 5)
Social Prescribing USA continues its public programming efforts in September with a special program focused on “social health.” Please join us in the Bay Area (Mill Valley) or online for an important conversation on the importance of social connections and relationships with three leaders in the field. Behavioral Health Leadership Webinar (Sept. 11)
Social Prescribing USA is joining with Open Source Wellness, The College for Behavioral Health Leadershp on a webinar focused on how social prescribing can activate community resources, connecting clinics and communities to improve patient-centered care and reduce healthcare burden. Register HERE.
Join or Die Film Screenings (Sept. 15)
On September 15th, theaters across the country will screen the Join or Die Documentary as part of a new effort called In Real Life (IRL) Movie Club, which seeks to boost social connections through independent film going. Arts and Health Webinars (Sept. 4th/18th)
CA for the Arts continues its free Arts and Health webiner series. It has new webinars coming up on September 4th and September 18th. The event on the 4th covers workforce development and the arts. The event on the 18th includes, among others, Julie Baker, CEO, Californians for the Arts and Julia Hotz, author of the new book The Connection Cure, which chronicles the science, stories, and spread of social prescribing.
